Olli Maksimainen is a Merihaka-based culture enthusiast who has followed and lived within the subcultures of the IT industry, the demoscene, and technology since the late 1980s. This time, exceptionally, he steps into the role of the creator of the work himself. In his works, Maksimainen explores the transitions of hardware design, the aesthetics of the early digital era, and the impact of technological development on people's daily lives. His interactive works combine authentic retro artifacts, digital effects, and spatial experience.
